Today was so cold that I started weaving a throw for the shop. I know winter will come and go, but the beauty of weaving is that even when it is not cold anymore, it can just sit there to be admired and petted!
For his throw I warped the 32" Ashford rigid heddle loom which is on display at The Noble Thread. I picked four colors of Berrocco Vintage for the warp. I selected the 7.5 dent heddle. The same yarns are used in the weft, and repeated in the same order, with the red being dominant.
The weave is a plain weave, my favorite. I can hardly wait to work on it today!
