We have just added three exciting new knitting classes to the schedule for March with Susan Borovsky!
For those of you who have always wanted to learn to knit, we have the perfect introduction to knitting: KNITTING 101. We are honored Susan Borovsky, aka The Knitting Nomad will be teaching the class. Susan has designed patterns for Knitters Magazine, Art Yarns, Interlacements, to name only a few. She brings with her 40 years of knitting and teaching experience and a passion for knitting. She has taught beginner to advanced techniques in yarn shops and in her own studio. Her careful teaching methods will give you a great foundation and open the world of knitting to you.
Susan will also be teaching a first shawl class: The Esjan Shawl designed by Stephen West. (Pattern available on Ravelry). If you have wanted to knit a shawl, but were not sure which shawl to start with, the Esjan Shawl will be perfect. You can knit it at different gauges, it uses mostly the garter stitch and has a simple but absolutely striking lace pattern. Knit it in bright contrasted colors for a statement piece, or coordinated colors for an elegant look! The options are endless. Susan will guide you step by step through the knitting of this stunning shawl.
Last but not least, Susan will be teaching a Finish it! class. Do you have UFOs that just need seaming, or buttons, or weaving in ends? This class is for you. Susan will take the fear out of finishing your knitting, and will teach you her techniques so you get professional results every time. Just bring you UFOS!
You can sign up for the classes directly on The Noble Thread's website. Class size is limited to 4 students.
