Class is composed of 4 sessions, each 1 1/2 hour long. Maximum enrollment: 4 students. Previous wheel spinning experience required.
Class meets from 1 PM to 2:30 PM on 04/04/17, 04/11/17, 04/18/17, and 04/25/17.
Take your spinning to the next level, and learn to spin from worsted to woolen.
In this class, you will learn the ins and out of fiber preparation, staple length and drafting methods to give you all the tools you need to spin the yarn you want.
We will learn how fiber preparation and drafting methods interact, and how their interaction can add to your repertoire and how to adjust your wheel to get it to work with you.
You will need:
-a wheel in working order
-washed raw long stapled fleece, and washed short stapled fleece.
(Class participants receive a 10% discount on fibers and tools needed for the class, except wheels.)
