I would never throw away my yarn trimmings! Why, will you ask? First, they are just so pretty to look at. I keep a bowl full of them at work. The colors, and textures enrich themselves as the trimmings of each successive project are added to the bowl.
I also keep them for adding to my weaving. Not traditional weaving of course. My favorite way to weave is in the Saori style where trimmings can be added at will to create texture, and splashes of color. Trimmings are like onion skins, you just build up your stash over time!
